Ryobi 20-inch Mower - RY401017
In this video I open the Ryobi 20-inch 40 Volt lawn mower and show all the components that come with it. How to use most of those components other than the catcher bag which I have never been a fan of and then I use the mower in the tiny back yard that we have to cut the grass. this is a different model than I have seen in this price range the number to look it up is RY401017. The mower was surprisingly quiet and did a decent job of cutting the lawn. It comes with a 40V 6AH battery that has a fast charger. If you have about a half-acre or less this is a great mower or if you have multiple batteries for larger land.

    So? outcome with Xtool support? I have the D1Pro 2w IR module and have yet to get anything remotely acceptable off it regarding anodized aluminum. While they have replaced the module once and sent me a focus gage, the results using their default xcs settings and experimenting leaves the same awful results… While my D1 has proven excellent regarding 455nm 20w , the 2W IR is simply problematic at best!

    • @everygooddaydesigns
      @everygooddaydesigns 15 днів тому

      Same, they sent me a replacement but the replacement did not fix the problem, this makes me think that either the hardware itself is terribly built or there is an issue with the software. I like the idea of being able to engrave metal but if the engraver can only run 2 seconds at a time then whats the point. I believe the IR laser is not of much value at this point. However, it could be a problem with my specific setup because I cant seem to find anyone else with this same issue. Very strange.

      @@TheExtremeElementz so I like the S1 alot and the software that comes with it is straight forward. I reccommend it if you are looking for something to do work with. (Get the 40W if you plane on cutting). I wish it had a little more space inside the machine for engraving though. As far as the IR laser, they sent me a new one, it does the same thing though. Idk what the issue is with it but I think its something to do with software. The laser almost always say its overheating after using it for just a few seconds. If that is the way its buikt then they should rethink the IR laser

    i understand the 40w laser module should be cleaned after every 30 minutes of use, or probably an 1-2 hours with air assist on high, and i would definitely take the noticeable chunks and tray debris out often.... how often should the S1 be cleaned and lubricated like this?

    • @everygooddaydesigns
      @everygooddaydesigns 2 місяці тому

      The chunks and debris get removed pretty much everytime, however, I do not wipe the sticky residue from the wood on the tray too often. The honey comb makes this less of a concern. As far as how often it should be cleaned and lubricated, I don't have the official answer. I've been doing it roughly every month or two depnding on how often I use it. Basically if the laser head is super dirty or there is a lot of build up on the walls I take that as an indicator to lube the bars

      I dont actually know if there is a set time frame for cleaning that xtool recommends However, I do a lot of wood cutting and it produces alot more debris and smoke so I clean about every 3 or 4 weeks. If it looks like a lot of build up is there I give it a good clean.
